It is back to Square one! First it was Om Shanti Om vs Taare Zameen Par, and then it was Ghajini vs Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi. Now Aamir Khan and Shah Rukh Khan are releasing their films together yet again this year.

The Khans will clash in December 2009 with’ 3 Idiots’ and ‘My Name is Khan’ this time.

The actors might be doing this intentionally, but the truth is their simultaneous releases have always brought good cheer for the box-office.

While Om Shanti Om was a blockbuster, Taare Zameen Par too was also acclaimed critically. Ghajini has broken all records and SRK fans enjoyed Rab Ne.. to the core.

Aamir left no stone unturned to make sure that Ghajini was the movie event of the year. It was the Om Shanti Om of 2008 driven by incredible hype. From revealing his diet and exercise schedule to actually turning barber and giving everyone the Ghajini hair cut, this was an aggressive Aamir, who wanted everyone to turn up at the theatres on December 25.

On the other hand , Shah Rukh Khan went all out to give his only film of the year 2008 a good start. In fact, producer Yash Raj Films released the first teaser of the film on SRK’s birthday. Shah Rukh as the boring old man and Anushka as the bubbly young girl put up a great picture of togetherness.

Both the movies were a treat for Bollywood audiences.
