Most Bolywood debutants would kill to get a role opposite super star Salman Khan but Sonakshi Sinha , daughter of veteran actor Shatrughan Sinha has refused a film offer opposite none other than Salman Khan.

Sonakshi was offered a role opposite Salman Khan in a new movie produced by Salman’s brother Arbaaz Khan and was supposed to be directed by Abhinav Kashyap. Sonakshi apparently called up Arbaaz and told him about her decision. Arbaaz tried to convince her to be a part of the movie but Sonakshi had already made up her mind. Sources close to the Khans say that Sonakshi along with her father had initially liked the script.

Confirming the news a daily quoted a source saying, “She did some research and realized that all the actresses who have debuted with Salman were merely wallflowers and made no impact in the film. So last week, Sonakshi called Arbaaz last week and told him that she couldn’t be a part of the film anymore. Although no signing amount exchanged hands, Arbaaz Khan still wanted her to be a part of the film. But even after several appeals, Arbaaz couldn’t get Sonakshi to be a part of his film.”

Meanwhile some feel Sonakshi’s decision has nothing to do with the script but it is the recession, which is the main culprit. The Khans are planning to shelve off this project for now as a washout at this stage might prove too costly for both Arbaaz and Salman.
