Samsung has launched 4 new netbooks and 3 notebooks for Indian market. The USP of the new netbooks and notebooks is long battery life which will enable prolonged use while on move. New range of netbooks include N110, NC 20, N120, and N310 models. The new laptops are R series R470, R522, and R518 models.

Samsung N110 is meant to have a long battery life. Samsung has claimed a battery life of 6 hours. The N110 has an Intel 1.6 GHz processor and 1GB memory. Exteriors are well done and the glossy lid makes it attractive. A Mobile Intel GMA 950 graphics adapter provides good clarity in videos and images. This is complemented by the Mobile Intel 945GM Express for faster processing speed.

It has an on board 802.11 b/g Wi-Fi, Bluetooth for faster downloads from the internet. Being light weight with a large size display and priced at Rs 25,252 it is likely to be popular.

The N120 is priced at Rs 26,327. The N310 has an Intel ATOM Processor, 1GB (Max 2 GB/1 SODIMM), 160GB (5400rpm SATA), and Intel GMA 950 Graphic. It is said to be the slimmest scratchproof flat screen. It is priced at Rs 30,089.

The R series laptops have been priced between Rs 37,000 to Rs Rs 48,000.
