Young actress Deepika Padukone has been bonding big time with fellow Southern sensation Asin Thotumkal.

Apparently they are regular SMS buddies. And they have discovered they have lots in common. Like they both are early birds. Or they are both Daddy’s girls.

Asin thinks the world of her entrepreneur dad Joseph Thottumkal, and Deepika respects the ground on which her father super sportsman Prakash Padukone plays badminton. Deepika, who is one of the few heroines who gets along famously with her female counterparts, is happy that Asin and she have struck up a good friendship

With so much going for them, it is hardly surprising that these two 20-somethings have nice things to say about one another.
