This year’s Cannes film festival had a heavy Bollywood presence.

First it was the Bachchan clan. Aishwarya Rai looking resplendent on the arms of hubby Abhishek Bachchan and papa Amitabh Bachchan also walked the red carpet.

Then there was Sonam Kapoor, the new face of L’ Oreal cosmetics on the arms of proud father Anil Kapoor walking down the red carpet.

Finally there was the team of new movie Kites- Papa Rakesh Roshan, Hrithik Roshan and Brazilian actress Barbara Mori.

Significantly absent from the Kites team was Kangana Ranaut who is another heroine of the film.

No one was ready to take the blame for her absence
