Hrithik Roshan pitches in for a good cause
Hrithik Roshan fresh from promoting his big movie Kites at Cannes made his next stop at Mumbai for a good cause-a candlelight memorial for the AIDS affected in Mumbai
And joining him for the good cause were his wife Suzanne Roshan, actor Nandita Das and heavy-duty personalities like Parmeshwar Godrej, Farhan Akhtar and author Shobha De.
The occasion was the 26th International AIDS Candlelight Memorial, organized by Heroes Project, under the aegis of National AIDS Control Organization and in association with the Mumbai District AIDS Control Society (MDACS). Paying homage to those who have lost their lives to the deadly diseases were a number of well-known public figures along with organizations working towards the cause.
I was in Cannes but I had to come for this function. Our film got a great response and we are positive, let’s see what happens,” said Hrithik.
Making his presence felt at the 26th International AIDS Candlelight Memorial, Hrithik, it seemed truly believed in the cause and insisted it was for wife Suzanne who got him on board for this cause.
“Suzanne has been the most important impetus, because she said this is something she truly believes in and wanted to do. She wanted me to be a part of it,” he said.
With that Hrithik put a stop to all rumors of trouble in paradise.
