Ghajini actress Asin Thotumkal has decided to move to her own apartment after having stayed with her parents till now.

Asin’s plan of shifting base from Kerala to Mumbai began when she started working in her first Hindi film Ghajini with Aamir Khan . Initially, the actress and her parents moved into an apartment at Lokhandwala but she hasn’t had her personal apartment until now.

Now, the beauty from south has shifted into her own apartment at Green Acres, which is not far from her parents’ house. The apartment is exclusively for Asin and her parents are still in the old house.

Asin told a tabloid that she’s been looking for a house for a long time but her busy schedules did not spare her time to find one.

“Finally, I have shifted into my own apartment and I am very happy with it,” Asin is quoted as saying.

Reports say Asin doesn’t want to hire an interior designer to decorate the apartment. She wants to keep it simple and plans to design it the way she wants.

The actress is presently working in London Dreams with Salman Khan and Ajay Devgan . She’s also doing a bilingual film ‘The 19th Step’ with Kamal Haasan.
