Nokia launches 6208 Classic in India
The Nokia 6208 was meant to be a product for China. However Nokia has announced the introduction of the phone in India. Touch phones have been doing well in India which could be the reason for this. This is the first Series 40 touch-input phone in India.
The phone has a 3.2 MP camera with a 8X digital zoom, a 2.4 inch QVGA display, FM Radio, multimedia player. The phone supports EDGE but Wi-Fi and 3G are not supported. It has a 64 MB internal memory that can be expanded to 8 GB. It has a stainless steel body with classy looks. The phone has been priced at Rs 13,259.
Vineet Taneja, marketing director, Nokia India said, “We are extremely excited to launch the Nokia 6208 Classic truly designed for convenience. This is our first series 40 touch input aimed to give our consumers an enhanced messaging experience.”
