Dell launches Latitude 2100 notebooks in India
Sensing the heavy demand for laptops from student community, Dell has launched Latitude 2100 notebooks to specifically target students and public institutions. This series is rugged and easy to use. The laptops come in rubberized design with protection from fluid drops.
Latitude 2100 features include Intel Atom processor N270, an optical drive with an option of External DVD+/-RW via USB, 0/100/1000 Gigabit Ethernet and a full suite of wireless communication options. The notebooks run on Windows XP Home/Windows Vista Home Basic/Linux. The notebooks come with a three-in-one Media Card Reader, and VGA port.
Other options include a touch screen, quick-connect handles and shoulder straps, a webcam and a keyboard with an antimicrobial protection. Batteries are either 3-cell or 6-cell. The Dell Latitude 2100 notebook weighs 1.32 kg. The notebooks use 3-cell or 6-cell The notebooks are available in very attractive color options. They will be reasonably priced from Rs 23,000 upwards and are likely to attract a lot of attention.
