Coinciding with its worldwide launch, Nokia launched its latest touch-screen mobile N97 in India. This fully-loaded multi-media phone is aimed at bringing seamless Internet connectivity through your mobile phone.

The N97 features a touch screen of 3.5 inches, a slider with a full QWERTY keyboard and a d-pad for easy navigation. It has a 5 MP Camera with Carl Zeiss lens and a dual LED flash. It has a memory of 32 GB, and integrated GPS, WiFi and HSDPA. It can capture DVD quality video with a 16:9 display.

However the hallmark of N97 is the OVI support. The phone is fully integrated with the Nokia Music Store. It is being called the most advanced mobile computer available till date. It makes access to your e-mail and sharing pictures a breeze. The entire range of OVI services is available.

Nokia India Director-Marketing Vineet Taneja said: “From the desktop to the laptop and now to your pocket, N97 is the most powerful, multi-sensory mobile device in existence. It is an important step towards our vision of delivering a highly personalised Internet experience.”. The phone is priced at Rs 35,000.
