Ranbir Kapoor and Imran Khan are the hottest new actors in Bollywood and producers are lining up to sign them, even jointly for film projects.

The latest Buzz is that after Zoya Akhtar roped in both the actors for her next, filmmaker Karan Johar has cast them for his upcoming ‘High School Musical’ style film.

According to a source, “Karan is fond of both Ranbir and Imran. In fact, he loved their great chemistry at the Filmfare awards ceremony this year. And he realized that the two have great personal chemistry that could translate well on the big screen.”

The film’s story will reportedly be on the lines of Hollywood hit ‘High School Musical’. It would be a pepped up romantic drama, where both Imran and Ranbir will play their age.

Grapevine has it that Deepika Padukone and Sonam Kapoor are the two actresses being considered to be paired with Ranbir and Imran respectively in the venture.
