Sony has announced the launch of its Vaio NW notebook in the Indian Markets. This classy notebook with a new design and 2-tone colour is a fusion of 15.5 inch widescreen and a reverse inch. The lifestyle notebook minimizes storage space.

It is powered with a Intel Pentium Processor T4200 (2 GHz) with 2 GB RAM. Windows Vista Home Basic 32-bit is the operating system. It has connectivity options of Wireless LAN and Bluetooth. A key feature of the Vaio NW is the quick access to the web without waiting for the operating system to load fully. Another useful feature is the ability to turn off the display during pauses or breaks to conserve battery power.

The multi media applications have been enhanced by using preinstalled Sony software. The Picture Motion Browser (PMB) helps viewing of pictures and videos. The VAIO Movie Story enables production of high quality movies. The VAIO MusicBox enables high end music experience.

This notebook enables fatigue free operation with the isolation keyboard and helps in reducing typing mistakes to a large extent. Ability to watch the display on a HD screen with external connectivity has also been provided. The laptop is priced at Rs 37,990.
