Transcend has announced the launch of its latest state of art player, the MP860 digital music player in India. With this gadget you can not only listen to music but also watch movies.

A high-contrast 2.4-inch (240 x 320 pixels) screen with a full-color TFT display makes the video experience very pleasurable. The player has a 8 GB memory. It has a microSD expansion slot for further increasing it.

The various file formats that can be played in the player are MP3, WMA, WAV, and even WMA-DRM10 protected music files. Movies can be seen in the MPEG4 SP (XVID) and FLV movies file formats.

What makes the player special is the advanced equalizer effects, including SRS WOW HD and user-customizable options. The player has an in-built speaker and also includes a line-in feature. FM radio and Karaoke has also been included. The battery permits 22 hours of continuous usage.
