Yes, Kareena Kapoor is playing a geek and Aamir Khan a genius for Rajkumar Hirani’s 3 Idiots . The cast and crew of the movie have shifted to the capital after shooting in the freezing weather of Ladakh.

Kareena plays Neha from the book ‘Five Point Someone’, on which the movie is based. For the first time she will be sporting a geek look in a film. In the book, Neha is a professor’s daughter. On the other hand, Aamir is not the narrator Hari as expected, but Ryan, the one who is handsome as well as genius and whose mind is buzzing with new ideas.

Sharman Joshi and Madhavan , the other two ‘idiots’, are also in Delhi for the shoot. Sharman plays the underdog Alok, while Madhavan essays the role of Hari, who adores Ryan and wants to be like him.

The members of the unit started to shoot in New Delhi on Wednesday evening. They shot at Connaught Place on Thursday. Kareena was spotted wearing spectacles.
