A normally sober Deepika Padukone had a giddy experience while acting drunk on the sets of her movie Love Aaj Kal. And Chote Nawab, Saif Ali Khan rushed to her rescue preventing her from a bad fall.

The actress had a freak accident while shooting for the song ‘Chor Bazaari’ in the upcoming movie Love Aaj Kal. In the song Deepika was playing drunk girl dancing wildly in a dhabha on the highway. In a particular shot she was supposed to climb a table and fall recklessly in Saif’s arms.

During one of the takes Deepika leaned back to fall into Saif’s arms for a 7 feet table but Saif missed her. She was about to bump into the ground when the Chhote Nawab’s quick reflexes caught her and the two tumbled off the platform. Director Imtiaz Ali and the other crew members got worried but Deepika burst into laughter and gave a perfect shot on the next take
