Ghajini fame actress Asin Thotumkal was admitted to a hospital for an acute sinus condition.

It was reported that the Ghajini actress, who has been shooting round-the-clock, was hospitalised due to exhaustion, but sources close to the actress said that she has been having sinus problem for quite sometime. She could not go for treatment due to tight shooting schedules.

Asin has been busy shooting for London Dreams along with Salman Khan and Ajay Devgan. So she waited for Eid break to get rid of her illness.

Her father Joseph Thottumkal confirmed that Asin has been hospitalised. He however added that there is nothing to worry about her health. He thinks it’s a part of his daughter’s growing up.

“Asin was admitted to the Dhirubhai hospital… not for exhaustion but an acute sinus condition. She had been neglecting the condition for quite some time now. But now the sinus situation had to be attended to. But she was in great spirits, her usual chirpy and friendly self singing even as her treatment was being done,” said a source close to Asin.

Her condition got aggravated because of the night shooting for London Dreams.

“She had no choice but to get into the hospital to have the condition treated. She waited until Eid when there was break from work,” said the source.
