Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan will grace the ramp for the grand finale of the HDIL Couture Week, which is set to take place from Oct 11 till Oct 16 in Mumbai.

Salman Khan was also in the race for showcasing his collections from his charity, Being Human, for the grand finale. Now he will be walking the ramp on Oct 13.

Shah Rukh will be joined by his wife Gauri for showcasing his ‘best friend’ Karan Johar’s debut ensemble. Meanwhile Aamir Khan, Sanjay Dutt and Akshay Kumar, along with Ajay Devgan will be walking the ramp for Salman Khan’s clothesline from his charity, Being Human.

A source says, “Both Shah Rukh and Salman were keen to do the grand finale. A grand finale in a fashion event is always very special.”

Confirming that Shah Rukh will walk the grand finale, Reshma Shetty, who is the endorsement manager of Salman Khan’s clothesline as well as the organizer of the event, maintained, “Salman did not want the grand finale. He is walking for charity. His show is not the couture show per se. He and the other actors with him will walk the ramp on Oct 13. We had blocked the dates of every star walking in the event two months ago. Salman won’t even be here in Mumbai on the day of the grand finale.”
