Aishwarya Rai too busy for T.V. reality shows
Aishwarya Rai has cited her busy schedule as reason for her incapability to join T.V. Reality shows rather than any dispute over fees as widely reported.
A proposal had come to Aishwarya through the Moranis and even Shiamak Davar tried to push her to do the show, but her dates could not be worked out. Shiamak added, “I would love to have her as she is the best. We go back a long way. I have been her teacher and worked closely with her on Taal and numerous stage shows. For me, she is a true blend of total perfection, beauty and is a complete performer. It would have been ideal if her busy schedule would have permitted her to do this show. I would have been the happiest person.”
This is not the first reality show that Aishwarya has been approached for. Various proposals have come along, but her schedules have not allowed her to consider any of the offers.
Her busy schedule is the reason why she turned down the offer to judge a reality show on small screen, according to Ash’s publicist who issued a statement to rubbish the reports that the actress demanded an astronomical fee to judge ‘Dance Premier League’ on Sony TV.
“Various proposals (of judging reality shows) have come along but her schedules thus far have not allowed her to even consider the same,” a statement issued by her publicist said.
Ash is hard pressed for time particularly because the shoot of Mani Ratnam’s film Raavan has stretched beyond her expectations. She still has to shoot a few songs for Vipul Amrutlal Shah’s Action Replay with Akshay Kumar.
She’s presently immersed in the shooting of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s film Guzaarish with Hrithik Roshan. Down south, she is committed to Endhiran (Robot) with Rajnikant
