According to the buzz, Hollywood actor Ben Kingsley is going to play Shah Jahan to Mumtaz Mahal Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, in the period film TAJ.

Ben is presently in Agra to over see postscript arrangements of the film and visited the Taj Mahal yesterday along with his wife and Brazilian model Daniela Lavender.

The actor famous all over the world for essaying the role of Mahatma Gandhi, in the Oscar winning film GANDHI (1982), interacted with the media during the visit.

In fact when one of the scribes asked him ‘You are playing Shah Jahan and in the Taj premises, along with your beautiful wife, how do you feel.’ Without batting an eyelid, Ben kneeled down and kissed his wife’s hand, who was looking sensational in a flaming red ‘chudidar’!

Later on, Ben and Daniela, who is to play Kandhari Begum (Shah Jahan’s first wife) in TAJ, visited all the spots earmarked for shooting at the Taj Mahal, as per the script. They were accompanied by professional photographer
