The world’s first Android 1.6 high definition phone “Liquid” has been launched by Acer in India. Besides being the first Android high definition phone it is also the first Qualcomm Snapdragon processor-based mobile phone of the world.

The phone is high ended with a touch screen of 3.5 inches and a 5MP camera that has geo-tagging, ISO, accelerated auto focus and a self timer. Connectivity options with Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and AGPS technology are available. It has an improved power management and a new interface. As per the Acer Smart Handheld Business Group (SHBG)’s India Country Head Richard Tan the phone depicts style and speed.

This touch screen is said to be very user friendly. It is ideal for high speed Internet access and social networking. Users have also appreciated its good video capabilities. Acer Liquid is priced at Rs 24,900.
