ASUS announced the setting up of a service centre in Delhi. The company will be investing Rs 20 crore over the next two years to provide service to its customers in India.

ASUS has done well with the Eee Pc in the notebook segment. It has launched two more notebooks in India. These models, Eee PC 1000H and Eee PC 904H, aim at targeting the middle section of the laptop market. They are ideal for computing applications combined with surfing the internet and music applications.

ASUS has launched its ultra portable PC R2E in the Indian Market. The size of this hi tech cute device is as much as a paperback novel. It provides the functionality of a lap top with a touch screen.
