The International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) 2008 awards ceremony was held at the Siam Niramit complex in the heart of Bangkok city. Ritesh Deshmukh, Urmila Matondkar and Boman Irani hosted the show.

Because of a technical hitch, Aamir Khan’s super hit, Taarein Zameen Par, will not be in the reckoning for any award in the IIFA wards to be held in Bankok in June.
